Cindere Dam and HEPP located in Denizli were constructed on Büyük Menderes river. As a Roller Compacted Concrete Dam, Cindere Dam has a body volume of 1.950.000 m3. The dam was constructed for energy generation and irrigation purposes. With an installed capacity of 30 MW, the dam has a total annual power generation capacity of 100 GWh and an irrigation capacity of 16.000 ha.
