As one of the main fields of business of Özaltın Holding, Özaltın Construction was founded in 1965 as a private enterprise by Nuri Özaltın, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

As a result of the significant projects which were realized both in Turkey and abroad, Özaltın Construction has become one of the important representatives of the Turkish contracting industry since its establishment. Özaltın Construction is now one of the exemplary and leading companies in the construction industry with its almost 50 years of extensive knowledge, its experience gained in different fields of the construction industry and its track record of internationally recognized accomplishments.

Özaltın Construction has made its mark with the innovations it brings to the industry and the groundbreaking achievements. It is the very first company which has applied   the Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) type of dam construction technique in Turkey. Cindere Dam constructed in Denizli and Beydağ Dam constructed in İzmir can be given as examples for this technique. Morover, Al-Wehdah Dam which is the largest RCC dam in Jordan was also constructed by Özaltın Construction.

The main fields of Özaltın Construction include mass housing, banks and business centers, hospitals, hotels and convention centers, commercial and industrial premises, prefabricated buildings, student lodging, embassy buildings, factories , dams and hydroelectric power plants, irrigation and drainage systems, drinking water and water treatment plants, waste water systems, water reservoir and stormwater systems, discharge and treatment plants, highway construction, bridges, tunnels, subway, power and telephone lines, oil and gas pipelines as well as pumping and regulator stations.
