During the ongoing construction of Köprü Dam and HEPP in Kozan, Adana, some
of our colleagues lost their lives in that deplorable accident happened on Friday,
24th February 2012, at 1:30 o’clock p.m.

We are in great grief. We wish that may Allah rest their souls and send our
condolences to their families, relatives and our colleagues.

The technical investigations are still maintained concerning the cause of
accident. However, it has been seen with great sadness that unrealistic, fictional,
technically inaccurate news have been reported based on some assumptions in
various press and media organs, since the day when this accident happened in
the diversion tunnel of the dam.

This case has been already started to be investigated and tracked by the
judicial authorities, and all the information and documentation required by the
Public Prosecutors have been submitted at their offices. Currently, we can only
submit the related information and documentation to the Prosecutor's Office, in
accordance with the instructions provided by the Prosecutor's Office to us. It is
kindly announced that after the official investigations come to a certain and final
conclusion and such conclusion is disclosed by the competent authorities, the
information related to this case will be publicly shared.”
