The Gloria Hotels was one of the biggest contributors to the project of “Let’s Overcome the Obstacles in Tourism”, which have been held for 4 years.

This year, 36 students in total have received a graduation certificate within the scope of the project titled “Let’s Overcome the Obstacles” having been held for 4 years in cooperation with Konyaaltı District Governorship, the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation of the District, District Directorate of National Education, M. Zeki Balci Tourism Training Center, Dr. Gunseli – Dr. Bulent Akinsal Primary School as well as Provincial Directorate of Turkish Labor and Employment Agency, and thanks to the supports from Antalya-wide tourism facilities.   

16 students in total have been employed at Gloria Hotels as of 16th April, 2012, within the scope of this cooperation. Currently, 6 students have been working in Food & Beverage departments of Gloria Serenity Resorts, 6 students in that of Gloria Golf Resort and 4 students in that of Gloria Verde Resort. 

Believing that the value of the corporations is measured with returning what they gained from the society in which they are involved back to the society, Mr. Nuri Özaltın, our Chairman of the Board of Directors, moving from the same awareness, has provided our disabled citizens with an opportunity to work at Gloria Hotels owned by him in order for those disable citizens to participate in the social life, to overcome the obstacles, and to stand on their own feet. 

We, as Özaltın Holding and Gloria Hotels, are happy to be a part of this project. We believe that further different fields of employment other than tourism will open their doors to our disabled citizens under the leadership of this project.
