Özaltın Energy Company owns and operates the Yedisu hydroelectric dam and power plant located on the Peri River, a tributary of the Euphrates River within the borders of Bingöl, a province in eastern Türkiye. Özaltın Energy and Investment Company conducted a comprehensive, and viable feasibility study to carry out the development as well as the implementation of a 24 MW infrastructure hydropower project under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model for a concession period of 49 years.

Development encompassed a composite dam consisting of an overflow spillway with a crest length of 43 meters, located between an earthen embankment stretches to a length of 200 meters to the left abutment, and a 55-meter-long concrete water intake on the right flank of the spillway adjacent to the right abutment. The dam has a hydraulic height of 22 meters and makes up a composite length of 345 meters spanning across the entire Peri River valley.

The powerhouse, furnished with three (3) vertical axis Francis turbine-coupled generators rated 8 MW each, has an installed capacity of 24 MW. It generates about 72 million kWh of renewable green electricity annually.
