    Construction of Km:233+250-244+647 (Melleç-Kaledran) section of Erdemli-Silifke-Taşucu 13th Region Border Road Project, is the final 11.4-kilometer part of D-400 State Road (the Mediterranean Coastal Road), which is the southernmost highway among the east to west arterial highways in Türkiye.

    Once completed, the Mediterranean Coastal Road will connect the neighboring cities of Mersin and Antalya with a 2x2 divided highway featuring high geometric standards. It will serve as a crucial link, connecting two cities with the farthest centers from each other in Türkiye.

    Within the scope of the final 11.4-kilometer part of Erdemli-Silifke-Taşucu 13th Region Border Road Project, there are 6 twin-tube tunnels with a total length of 6.9 kilometers (one-way), 5 viaducts with a total length of 3,000 meters and 2 balanced cantilever bridges.
